Each breed-specific fiber is hand washed to maintain lock structure with the tips all oriented the same way, then hand combed into top as two 50 g. balls (100 g./3.5 oz. total) or any other weight called for by the pattern chosen, ready to spin. Included with the fiber is an information sheet about the specific breed such as characteristics, lock length, suggested spin information, and appropriate textile use. Try the different breed's fibers to see how they spin up.
